Cats can be picky, but these salmon and pumpkin bites are usually a hit! Pumpkin is great for digestion, and salmon is packed with omega-3s.

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz) can of salmon in water (drained, no bones)

  • 2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1 tablespoon oat flour (or finely ground oats)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh catnip (optional, but encouraged!)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a small bowl, mash the drained salmon.
  • Add pumpkin puree, oat flour, and catnip (if using). Mix until well combined.
  • Roll small pinches of the mixture into tiny, pea-sized balls.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until firm. Let cool completely before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
